I had the chance to pick up some lunch at Auntie Em’s in my favorite neighborhood of Eagle Rock. It’s been in the neighborhood for years but it’s been transformed into what the Los Angeles Times calls “hip”.  Maybe because it’ll soon be a “hip”-ster spot.  From what I hear, hipsters love cupcakes and Auntie Em’s has some very delicious cupcakes.

As if we needed more reason to feind for CrackBerrys. Those damn Canadians keep on going. It’s bad enough the fashion industry is connected by every means of wireless communication known to man. Our favorite Canadian based company, RIM, the makers of BlackBerry, have released their newest model the BlackBerry Bold 9000. It’s great. I love it already. Gimme some’mo.

So, you’ll definitely be hearing this more often than not…

B: Yea.
A: What’s your PIN?
B: *maneuvering to find PIN* Here add me.
Once added, either person sends their contact information via BBM and then it’s BBM BFF’s until you get a new phone which results in a new PIN and the process begins again.

I’m assuming that Angelenos are once again experiencing what is called “Laker Fever”. Laker fever is described as a time during playoffs when the Lakers are fucking doing it up and the fans, all fans (this includes those diehards that watch pre-season and season games regardless of whether the Lakers suck or not AND those bandwagoners who just like the playoff thrill), are full on sporting Laker attire, reppin’ the Lakers by hanging those flags on their cars, paying insane amounts for tickets at the 300 level at Staples Center, and when they can’t make it to games are having Laker parties with family and friends…

But whatever. I’m L.A. to the heart so good luck to the Los Angeles Lakers tonight and even more luck to all those stuck in even worse traffic on the 110 and 10 freeways causing a ripple effect to other connecting freeways. Thanks.
