Last Saturday, we sent Sahsa, our Cultist butler, to represent us at round two of the Nike-id  shoe design competition.  I think our shoe should carry us to the next round, but…well, if you’ve heard of a little band called  Linkin Park, then you probably can guess more people voted for Joe Hahn’s shoe instead of ours…this is fashion, NOT a popularity contest, people!  Okay enough of my defeatist attitude, thanks to Sasha and everyone who voted for us!

By the way, this week when I went to an open mic night in South LA, I discovered Nana Queens AMAZING banana pudding desserts and I nearly shit my pants.  She puts vanilla wafers in her banan pudding, which is pretty much a genius move…I’m hooked, check out the goods on nanaqueens.com if you have a sweet tooth and an affinity for banana pudding.
